Free, and free in the way that matters
These run in the browser and ask for nothing. No account, no email address, no "send me the results" gate. The arithmetic below is not proprietary — it is the calculation you would do on paper if you had twenty minutes and the patience — so charging for it, in money or in an address, would be charging for the patience.
Nothing you type is sent anywhere. The numbers stay in the page, which is why the calculators work with your real figures rather than the ones you would be comfortable putting in a form.
What the arithmetic actually decides
Pricing is where most tutoring practices quietly fail, and they fail in the same two places. The first is the denominator: tutors divide by the lessons they teach rather than the lessons they are paid for, and the gap — holidays, illness, the cancellations they forgive — is a tenth or more of the year. The second is prep: a 60-minute lesson with 30 minutes of preparation is 90 minutes of work, and a rate that covers only the visible hour pays two-thirds of what it appears to.
Both are visible the moment the numbers are on a screen, and both are invisible while the rate is a figure you picked by asking what others charge.
