Halgo for language tutors
Halgo was built by a language tutor who still teaches. The whole product is shaped around how language tutoring actually works — levels, textbooks, and the homework treadmill.
The language you teach is a setting, not a limitation
Every student carries their own taught language, and so does every textbook and topic. Teach English and German side by side and Halgo keeps two libraries, two taxonomies, two sets of homework — nothing bleeds across, and nothing assumes the language you happen to teach most.
Levels are CEFR end to end: a B1 student gets B1 exercises, and the moment you move them to B2 the homework follows.
Your textbooks do the heavy lifting
Language tutors accumulate shelves of textbooks, and the exercises in them are the real teaching material. Halgo indexes those books once — OCR included — and then builds each student's homework from them: matched to level and the focus or saved weak areas you choose, without repeating an exercise a student has already had.
The admin half, handled
Schedule with two-way Google Calendar sync, prepaid packages whose credits always add up, payments in each family's own currency, and a share link that shows parents the remaining balance — without Halgo ever contacting them on its own.
Questions tutors ask
Which languages does Halgo support?
Halgo currently supports Slovenian, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Croatian, Serbian, Polish, Czech, Portuguese, Dutch and Ukrainian. The language lives on the student and the book, so supported-language libraries stay separate.
I teach two languages. Do I need two accounts?
No. Each student carries their own taught language, and your library keeps each book under its language. One account can hold any combination of Halgo's supported languages.
Does it work for group lessons?
Halgo is built for one-to-one and small-roster tutoring first. You can generate homework for several students at once, but classroom-scale group management is not what it is for.
Want your evenings back?
Halgo is letting tutors in a few at a time. Leave your address on the landing page and we'll write when a place opens.
