Balances that always add up
A student's balance in Halgo is not a number somebody edits — it is derived from the ledger every time: payments in, lessons out, package credits counted. If two recorded facts contradict each other, Halgo reports the discrepancy and a human decides; it never papers over the record.
Lessons that happened but are not yet marked are named separately, so "balance" and "about to change" are never silently mixed.
Prepaid packages, done properly
Sell a ten-lesson package and Halgo tracks every credit: booking takes one, a refund gives one back, a reschedule moves it. Money stays in each student's own currency — no silent conversions, no pretending francs are euros.
The student sees their own balance
A share link shows a family how many lessons are left — no account, no app. Balance reminders exist too, but they are opt-in on your side and rate-limited by design: Halgo never contacts a family you did not ask it to contact.
New students, without the typing
Paste the parent's first message and Halgo fills the student profile from it — level, goals, schedule hints. Contact details like emails and phone numbers are stripped before any AI sees the text; they go into the form, not into a model.
Questions tutors ask
Does Halgo process payments?
No — it tracks them. You collect money however you already do (bank transfer, cash, whatever your market uses), and Halgo keeps the ledger honest. Payment processing is on the roadmap, not in the product.
Can parents see the balance?
Yes, through a share link that opens without an account. What they see is the count of remaining lessons — not your prices across other students, not your notes.
